Leonard and Dianne Vanek have been involved with cattle all their lives. Leonard started AI ing in 1970 and over the years has helped put on schools for Artificial Insemination, and Pregnancy Testing. He was involved with Embryo Transfer for thirty years by preparing donor and recipient cows. He also has experience in this area with his own cow herd. Leonard has been involved in the showing industry since 1975. From halter breaking, to clipping and showing, he has lots of experience. He has also been clipping and helping with cattle sales for over 20 years. Leonard also has about 35 years of experience managing registered cattle ranches. Dianne specializes in taking cattle pictures for the business. This area of the business has expanded dramatically since we started, which speaks of her work. She was raised on a dairy farm and was involved in 4H showing cattle along with many other projects as a member for 10 years and leader for 30 years. Dianne went to college at Montana State University majoring in Agriculture Production: Animal Science. Pam Vanek is the daughter of Leonard and Dianne. She is 20 years old and is currently attending Northwest College in Powell, WY, majoring in Agriculture Business. She is a member of the college show team and rodeo team. She has been showing cattle since she was 3 years old and exhibited many champion steers and heifers in Montana and Wyoming. She has competed at the FFA National competition in the Livestock Judging Contest and the Farm Business Management Contest and received her FFA American Degree. Dan, Ashley, and Pam have all been representatives for Montana in the National Junior Angus showmanship contest. They have placed very respectably by being award honorable mention or in the top 15.

Dan Vanek is the son of Leonard and Dianne. He is 26 years old and has been showing cattle since he was four. After a successful career of showing many champion steers and heifers in 4-H, he started clipping and fitting for other people. He has also raises steers and sells them to other 4-Hers who have also been successful with champions. Dan is also a certified AI technician. In 2007 he married Ashley Berkram, who is an asset to the business. She has had lots of experience showing Angus and Herefords at the National level where she has had many champions. She started showing when she was nine, and was very competitive with her steers not only in Montana, but also showed a champion Angus steer at Junior Angus Nationals. Ashley has a college education in business, but is currently working as a nail technician along with helping with the cattle business.
